Ted joins Spurs after 3 years of being the Director of Coaching for the Atlanta Silverbacks Elite Youth Club. Ted developed the Silverbacks youth program into being one of the most respected youth soccer club's in Georgia, taking a team from Academy to the Regional Premier League. Prior to joining the Atlanta Silverbacks, Ted was the Director of Coaching at Tucker Youth Soccer Association where he was responsible for all aspects of player and coaching development for the 1700 member club. Ted has over 20 years experience coaching at various levels including: Portsmouth FC Reserves (English Premier League), San Jose Earthquakes (MLS), and the United States Air Force Academy (NCAA D-I). He played professionally in England for 16 years at clubs the size of Manchester United, West Ham United, Southampton and Norwich City. As a player, Ted also played internationally for Scotland and broke numerous records, once scoring nine goals in one English FA Cup game. MacDougall holds a USSF "A" License and looks forward to bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to Atlanta Spurs FC.

Paul, has over 15 years of experience coaching youth soccer. From 1997 – 2000 Paul was the Director of Coaching for Fayetteville Soccer Club in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Next he was Assistant Director of Coaching at the prestigious Charlotte Soccer club in Charlotte NC. From 2000 to 2003 he helped Charlotte Soccer club continue to establish itself as one of the premier youth soccer organizations in the State of North Carolina. In 2003 Paul's accomplishments prompted his hiring as Academy Director at one of Atlanta's most well respected soccer club's Concorde Fire. Paul's efforts helped Concorde Fire's academy program to become one of the best and most successful in Georgia. After Concorde Fire in 2007, Paul joined up with the Atlanta Silverbacks Elite Youth Club to start and develop their academy. Paul played soccer at professional level in England with Notts County FC before moving to the United States and Methodist University where he was an All-American in 1996. He holds his USSF National Youth and English FA Level 1 & 2 licenses. Paul also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical education with a minor in child psychology.

Originally from, Montevideo, Uruguay, Alejandro joins us from the Atlanta Eagles where he was the club Director of Coaching.As a player, Alejandro played professionally in Uruguay & Brazil for teams, C.A Montevideo Wanderers, C.A River Plate, C.A Belle Vista and C.A El Tanque Sisley. He has played in the prestigious Copa Libertadores de America tournament and represented Uruguay in the 1982 Youth World Cup and was voted one of the players of the tournament, as the team finished as finalists.Since becoming a coach, Alejandro has worked with world renowned coach, Victor Pua, the head coach of Japan during the World Cup in 2002 and coached the C.A Juventud 1st Division Youth Academy in Uruguay. He currently coaches the Atlanta Silverbacks NASL reserve team and brings a wealth of professional experience to Atlanta Spurs FC. Alejandro holds a U.S.S.F "C" & National Youth License and has a degree in Physical Education from ISEF.

Frank Lesesne

Frank, is a life long Atlanta resident, who began playing soccer at age of 6. At the U-14 & U-16 levels he played for Mr. Gene O'Brian at the DeKalb Youth Soccer Association winning 2 US Youth Soccer Georgia State Cup Championships, and making it to the semifinals of the Southern Regionals on both occasions. Lesesne's team toured Europe for 2 consecutive Summers playing against club teams, training in England with instruction from coaches and players at Leicester City FC and at the Olympic Training Center in Holland. The club completed a very successful record in Europe with the highlight being a 1-1 draw vs. the Chelsea FC 14&15 Apprentice side. At the U-19 level Lesesne played for Mr. Danny Hay's Datagraphics club winning a 3rd State Cup and again finishing as semifinalist in the Southern Regionals. As a collegian Lesesne played for Wofford College as a 4-year starter. He was a team captain his junior and senior seasons, awarded Most Valuable Player his junior year and a 2-time All District selection. Lesesne holds a USSF "C" National Coaching License.

Played at professional level with Pittsburgh Riverhounds from 2004 to 2005 and the Atlanta Silverbacks from 2005 to 2008. Coached at the Top Class New York Youth Club, Blackwatch Premier in 2004 taking three teams to success at Super Y level. Greg also specializes in Speed and Agility training and will be conducting individual training sessions for Spurs players.

Jason Thomas

Jason joined the Spurs in 2010 as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach. With over ten years of experience in training and conditioning, Jason has focused on the physical athletic development of soccer players with an emphasis on injury prevention. Currently the owner of Strength Lab, a training and conditioning facility in Midtown Atlanta, he was the former Head Strength and Conditioning Coach of Atlanta Youth Soccer Association where he also served as the Boys Classic 3 coach for U15-U19 teams. Collegiately, Jason played at Oglethorpe University before focusing his attention on training soccer players. Jason has earned the distinction of Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the National Strength and Conditioning Association, the foremost authority on sports performance and athletic development. Currently pursuing a Master's in Human Movement, Jason's goal is to make every athlete in Spurs F.C. a faster, stronger, more agile, and healthier athlete.
