The Spurs Soccer Foundation works as a 501 c3 non- profit organization which operates separately from the Atlanta Spurs soccer club. The role of the foundation is to work with the community in and around Dekalb County to raise funds and ensure every child regardless of social and economic background can play soccer. A major part of the Spurs Soccer Foundation is to expose less fortunate children to the game of soccer giving them an opportunity to learn the values of team work, overcome challenges and to become something larger than one's self.
Traditionally soccer in the USA has been played by the middle to upper class, only allowing the privileged a chance to play. The Spurs Soccer Foundation aims to change that in Dekalb County by working hard to provide qualifying players the following,
•Registration fees
•Coaching fees
•Uniform fees
•Car pooling to practice & games
•Family Support
The Spurs Soccer Foundation will also raise funds for soccer field development. Every player in Atlanta Spurs FC will benefit from these funds as they will go towards the maintenance, rental and future development of our fields.

The mission of Atlanta Spurs F.C. is to help foster young players' physical, mental and social growth so they can reach their potential in life through their participation in soccer. The club will provide the highest quality staff, facilities, environment and curriculum to give players the tools to succeed.
A major part of the clubs function will be to expose less fortunate youth in and around the City of Decatur to the game of soccer. Through this exposure and a partnership with the education community, we will teach these children the value of team work, overcoming challenges and becoming part something larger than ones self.
Our club's vision is to develop a reputation for producing well trained athletes and gain the respect of the national soccer community as a true soccer academy. College coaches, national coaches and professional coaches will recognize the standards of excellence embodied by the club and expect those who graduate from the club to be quality players with a solid soccer foundation and great citizens. Atlanta Spurs FC will provide an environment which will enable any aspiring player to achieve his/her goal of playing at the highest competitive level.
